Okay, so we're in the middle of history and our class gets lucky so we get a few minutes to work on our homework near the end of the period. Everythings calm, everythings quiet, and then my teacher starts going into this five-minute lecture about chamber pots.
Apparently they're pretty darn awesome. I mean, really, what's better than medieval porta potties? 0_o

I've seen those!! They have the lock on the outside of the potty because enemys might come up the toleit... "By golly I hope that isn't what I think it is."

Yeah, did you know the term "Pulling your chain" refers to the chamberpot? Because if you pull the chamber pot chain while someone is on it, they fall down the pot.

That doesn't seem very healthy... or sanitary.
Wouldn't that spread disease REALLY quick if everyone was eating veggies from under a chamberpot?

Yep. But it provided good fertilizer. And if the lock is on the outside someone could lock you in andyou'd have to crawl out the other way.
